Here is the current state of my stitching project. I am now unsure how to proceed. The pattern has leaves. I’m undecided. You thoughts? To leave or not?
It is hard to say without seeing the leaves the pattern calls for but I can see why you are stuck. I really like it just the way it is.
I like the leaves. But thats just cause i think there's no such thing as too much green :-)It looks lovely just the way it is also.
If you are stuck could that be an indication that you love it this way. Be bold and follow your inner self! Cherrie
p.s. Now that I notice the link...I like it without the leaves.
I vote NOT! I think it's just perfect the way it is.
yep, I agree. stop, its fabulous as it is. x
I love the simplicity of it, but maybe a few leaves here and there? Whatever takes your fancy ... you can always pull out the stitches if you don't like them!
Yep I agree with yardage girl. Maybe even half the number? Judge it as you go. But having said that I also love it too, the way it is, although I think it needs something else? Are you putting the text above the flowers as well? If so, once you've done that, stand back and see how it looks without leaves. But if you're keeping it for yourself, then definitely go with your feelings. It's really so pretty Sally.
yeah, I agree with Pam & Nic, maybe a few scattered here & there.but, if you honestly don't think it needs them then listen to your instincts.it's beautiful as is anyway.♥
Of course, I am going to say leaves! But you know, if you like it that way then you should just go with it. It really does look lovely and you have done a wonderful job. Lisa xxx
Yes to leaves, just not as many as the pattern has. It is beautiful as it is right now though.
Maybe some bigger leaves and not as many? If you love it leave it. If not add some leaves.
I think just a few leaves here and there would look good, it's such a personal choice really though isn't it, can't wait to see what you decide
Add the leaves it is looking bare :-)
A few little leaves scattered on the stems would really finish it off - well that's what I reckon. Gawd you're clever ;)
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.
