it’s that time of year

… the time of year when you grab the alcopops and head pool side. It’s 36°C in my part of the world today and summer hasn’t even started. YAY!

bring it on!!!

  1. I'd melt in temps like that! ewww... but our heat is so different to yours. We burn up at 18° so no pool side for us!

  3. Dude I am sitting here in a jacket waiting for the veges to roast for dinner. Oh sweet Femmes - that is my kids all time favourite song - does that give you an idea of my excellent upbringing I am giving them.

  5. Thanks for rubbing it in..... we're freezing here in Canada, waking up to white grass, car windows and roofs (frost), and breaking out the winter clothes!
Perhaps this great song will warm me up!

  6. It's not quite that hot where I live yet! Thankfully the house I live in is like a hot box so it's hotter inside than it is outside......can't wait to move into a house with decent insulation!

  7. It's finally starting to warm up in my neck of the woods too. I am not a massive fan of summer though so I enjoy it now while its not too crazy hot but as soon as it gets too high I start hating summer and wishing for winter again.

  9. I have been waiting and waiting for hot weather since winter ended and spring began but although we've had some warmish weather, what we've really had most of is rain. I'm a little over it.
