a skirt for a friend

Not too long ago a close friend of mine asked if I’d make her a skirt based on an existing favourite of hers. The request was terrifying. Using her beloved skirt I drafted a pattern and set to work.

It turned out alright. I wasn’t 100% pleased with the zipper. I wanted it to be perfect for her. Nonetheless she tells me that she loves it.

I hope she really does and isn’t just saying so.

  1. Wonderful fabric! I hate sewing clothes for friends. The fear is a absolute even just for hems. I am sure she will love this. Cherrie
