The aubergine, or eggplant if you prefer, in our garden is thriving. A favoured food in this household it is time for Dave’s delicious aubergine pasta. It is really really tasty, so good. Especially with homemade spaghetti.

  2. That is one thing that doesn't thrive here. We baby the plants and get probably one or two in a good year. I've given up...but my friend now has a poly tunnel...perhaps there is hope there.

  3. I adore eggplant and love it on pasta, but also the way the Japanese do it. Grilled with sweet caramilised miso grilled on to it.
